Environmental-Friendly
The production process of gypsum entails
reduced energy consumption. Moreover,
hydrated gypsum may be reprocessed into
calcined gypsum through heat and pressure,
highlighting the eco-friendly nature of gypsum
as a building material that supports the principles
of sustainable development.
Energy Efficient
Compared to cement blocks, Gypsum Blocks
require less energy during the manufacturing
process, making ‘ATECH Gypsum Block’ a more
energy-efficient construction material.



Regulate Relative Humidity
During the humid season, the high relative
humidity can lead to damage in wall paintings
on concrete block walls. Unlike concrete block
walls, gypsum block walls can adjust the inside
temperature and humidity due to its low thermal
conductivity, hence preventing damage to wall
paintings.
Light Weight
The benefits of using lightweight materials include
reduced time and cost of transportation, as well as
the potential for reduced structural bearing.


Fire Resistance
For walling system formed by ATECH Gypsum
Block,100mmm thickness block wall can achieve
4 hours fire rating (FRP).To achieve the same fire
rating, a 150mm-thick traditional concrete block
or thicker wall shall be used.The ATECH Gypsum
Block wall system offers more usable space as
fire rated wall.

Sound insulation
ATECH Gypsum Block walling system offers
exceptional sound insulation in contrast to other
block walling systems. With a single wall, it can
achieve a STC rating of 40-50. Additionally,
customized designs for areas that require higher
acoustic performance can be provided.


Water Repellent
ATECH Gypsum Block is a water repellent
product. According to testing standard
BS EN 12859:2011, it achieves ‘Class H1’, meaning
that its water absorption rate is lower than 2.5%.
Suitable for use in all areas, especially in wet
areas such as kitchen, washroom, basement.
No Plastering Works
ATECH Gypsum Block walling system
distinquishes itself from traditional concrete block
systems by not requiring plastering, resulting in
the elimination of wet trade work on site and the
possibility of de-bonding plaster.Additionally, this
system generates less debris on site.



Strong and Durable
The compressive strength of High Density
ATECH Gypsum Block is more than 12 MPa and
the flexural strength is more than 4MPa. It is
strong and durable. No steel frame is required as
structural stiffening when the wall height is less
than 7m height.
Time Saving
Construction of ATECH Gypsum Block walling system
is easy and fast. With the advantage of smooth surface
provided by ATECH Gypsum Block, plastering work
will be eliminated. Significant reduction of construction
time is a benefit to the project. Forming of groove and
openings for MEP services can always be done after
the gypsum block wall is erected, this will save the
critical timing for coordination and construction.


Cost Saving
Compared to concrete block wall system, ATECH
Gypsum Block walling system weighs only
50% of the concrete block wall; and because
of the smooth surface no plastering work is
required. With the strength and robustness of
ATECH Gypsum Block wall, steel stiffener is not
required.Thus, a significant cost saving in terms
of materials and labor could be achieved when
using ‘ATECH GypsumBlock‘ walling system.
